This a long trough like pond. The width was derived from the size of the paving stones and the length from the situation of the windows behind. The pond is made of reinforced concrete and sealed by a two part apoxy and fibre glass membrane.

The fountain is made from the horn of an old gramaphone. The pond is backed by a strata stone feature wall.
